Bear Lake, BC - Hiking in the Back Country

Rocky and Bear high in the Rockies

Back country camping at its best
Here are two Photo's of a hike into the Rocky Mountain back country. The image of the tents was taken beside Bear Lake, and the image of me and Bear are on the ridge above the lake which is at 49 46 18 N by 115 28 41 W. The elevation at the lake is about 7,200 ft and the elevation of the ridge is about 8,000 ft.

  2. I think Bear has more fun. But, he does pack his own food and my book. Also, I make him carry my coffee cup.
