A few weeks ago...

...Mike (who I had just met) and I went out for the day. We headed up Gold Creek road on our BMW Adventure Tour motorcycles all the way to Caven Cr rd where we made a left hand turn and headed East towards Kocanusa lake.

In this picture I am heading east and that is the Rocky Mountains in the background.

After lunch we headed up Bull River Road and made a left up Van creek road. The trucks with the quad trailers should have been an indicator of how the road was going to be. This is the first snow we saw.

This was as far as we got. The snow completely covered the road at this point. It was a great day
